LED is very energy saving, while how could we make it better energy efficient?

For example, to calculate the saving of electricity cost based on an ultra energy saving display with the area of 200sqm


A. Energy saving aspect when display is working

The energy saved per unit area(1m2) from ultra energy saving display:
>> Energy consumed per display: power consumed during normal operation: 270w/m2
>> All market common like products: power consumed during normal operation: 500W /m2
>> Energy consumption can be saved: 500W/m2 - 270W/m2 = 230 W/m2(0.23KW)
>> The electricity cost saved from the whole display body:

Annual saving of electricity cost:
Electricity cost per year = energy saved/m2 × display area × working hours/day × 365days / year × commercial electricity cost / unit (RMB 1.1 / unit) = 0.23KW × 200 m2 × 14 × 365 × 1.1 = RMB 258,566 / year
Saving of electricity cost for five years: RMB 258,566/year × 5years = RMB 1,292,830.


B. The electricity utilization and energy saving aspect when the A/C heat radiator is in use:

>> The saving from purchasing of A/C heat radiator:
10 units of 2 hp A/C, the purchase price is around RMB 60,000
6 units of 2 hp A/C, the purchase price is around RMB 36,000
Cost can be saved by purchasing of A/C heat radiator= RMB 60,000- RMB 36,000= RMB 24,000.
>> The electricity cost saved when the matched A/C heat radiator is in use:


a. The computational formula for electricity cost of A/C heat radiator per year:
>> The electricity cost of A/C heat radiator of conventional display per year=power consumption/ A/C× A/C quantity × working hours/ day×365days/ year × commercial electricity cost/unit (RMB1.1/unit)= 1.5KW × 10units × 14 × 365 × 1.1 = RMB 84,315/year
>> The electricity cost of A/C heat radiator of ultra energy saving display per year = power consumption/ A/C × A/C quantity × working hours/day × 365 days/ year × commercial electricity cost/unit (RMB 1.1/unit) = 1.5 KW × 6 units × 14 × 365 × 1.1 = RMB 50,589 /year
>> The electricity cost of ultra energy saving display per year=RMB 84,315/year –RMB 50,589/year = RMB 33,726/year


b. The saving of electricity cost in 5 years by the A/C heat radiator is in use with ultra energy display:

RMB 33,726/year × 5 years = RMB 168,630.


C. The saving of electricity cost in use with ultra energy display:

>> The saving of electricity cost per year = the saving of electricity cost of screen body/year+ the saving of electricity cost of heat radiator is in use/year=RMB 258,566/year+ RMB 33,726/year = RMB 292,292/year
>> The saving of electricity cost for 5 years = RMB 292,292/year x 5 = RMB 1,461,460/year
>> The ultra energy-saving display not only has the advantages of environmental protection and operational cost saving, but also has advantages of high brightness, long lifetime, low heat, natural display with great effect.
